National Zoo

We decided to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and head to the National Zoo this weekend. The girls got to pretend to wash an elephant before seeing the real thing:

You're never far away from a food break when you are with our family! We stopped mid-morning for some fuel.

The girls love taking pictures, and since we are waiting for the SLR to be fixed, we are currently using our old point and shoot. With this camera, we don't worry as much about letting them use it outside of the house - so here are some of their snaps:

By the end of our day, it had heated up again - Emma loves misting stations!
