Christmas at the Nguyen Chens
We had Christmas Dinner at the Nguyen/Chens. The girls had a blast dressing up like princesses!
Christmas morning
The girls loved all their presents! Here is Alexa opening her Little People Farm present from Uncle Chowie and Emily JoMa. (Thanks!) Emma finally got her "dolly house."
Daddy and Lexy
Arturo and Lexy have been bonding a lot recently. Her favorite thing these days is to sit on his lap (or his belly!) and read books.Making Ornaments
Step 1: Roll out the clay.
Step 2: Use your cookie cutter and make the perfect stocking ornament. The messier you get the better.
Step 3: After the ornament has hardened, paint it. Again, the messier the better!
Frying Pan Park
It was strangely warm last weekend, and we headed to the Horse Show at Frying Pan Park. After watching it, we went to visit the farm animals. I think Alexa will grow up to be an animal lover! She had a blast!Festival of Lights

Chesterbrook Holiday Show
The annual CBA holiday show. The class "sang" Jingle Bell Rock. Even though Emma will belt her heart out at home, she was pretty much just mouthing the words at the actual show. Still pretty cute though!
Gingerbread House
We spent last weekend decorating the gingerbread house. Notice that Alexa's mouth and Emma's hands are covered in frosting. The girls spent more time dipping and licking the frosting and sneaking bites of gummies and goldfish than actually decorating. Little Rascals!

Visit with Santa
Emma was so excited to visit Santa. When she got to the mall, you could see the fear on her face; but she was resolute, and she sat on his lap and even told him what she wanted for Christmas! Alexa was really scared, but when she saw Emma sitting on his lap, she was willing to do so. Of course, neither of them smiled for the picture, but considering -- I think this was a decent enough shot!Tuesday, December 05, 2006
Holiday Playdate
We had a fun holiday play date at Evy's house this past weekend. The girls decorated cupcakes, played with bubbles, and had a grab bag gift too!
Ballet Class
Emma loves (L.O.V.E.S.) Ballet. She loves it with a passion. She does Arabesques and Twirls all over the house. I took these pictures her last day of class. Just 4 more long weeks before ballet starts again!
Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!
Over the weekend, we went to pick out a Christmas tree. After Emma chose the tree carefully, Alexa insisted on helping Arturo push the tree. Once we got back in the car, Alexa promptly fell asleep, so we had to take our last picture with her asleep!
