Kindergarten Orientation!

This afternoon, we had kindergarten orientation for Emma! It was really great, and I think both Emma and I are relieved to finally meet the teacher, meet some other kids, and get a lay of the land. Emma did great, blended right in and was happy happy happy. She even got to take her first bus ride. First picture is the kids, walking in a line to their first ride on the school bus. She's got her hands on her hips, because as she described to me later... "Hands on your hips, bubble on your Lips!" (That's how the teachers get the kids to walk quietly and keep their hands busy, I guess.)

If you look closely through the tinted window, that's Emma flashing a broad smile and a wave as the bus pulls away!
