When Pau and Fabi saw the girls' wacky hair, they wanted to get some too! So the next day (Sunday), we went back to the Festival. We spent a good 2 hours or so, just in the children's section - where they had tons of arts and crafts for the kids to work on. Tessa didn't think it was worth the hoopla, but I think she enjoyed it anyway...
The caricatures we have hanging in the girls' art room was actually done at the Reston Festival several years ago. To this day, we love it - and we thought that since Tessa had been added to the mix, we should try to get one with all the girls in it. The lady who drew the girls really captured the essence of Alexa, though not quite of Emma. Tessa was p*ssed that I cut short a nursing session so that she could be drawn so she screamed her way through her "sitting." The end result is ok - didn't love it - but the girls thought it was fun to get drawn!
