Labor Day Weekend Cookout

We went to Ginny and Hollis' house for deliciously grilled fajitas on Sunday night. We even got to see Elizabeth and Chris and Baby Tommy! From the minute that Emma stepped into their house, she disappeared with Sydney upstairs and the girls all played together as a big raucous group, until the end of the night. Awesome night!

Alexa fell asleep on the way over to the Chens. The poor child was tuckered out from too much pool'ing and partying.

Hollis and Arturo man the grill. Their expertise, however, did not prevent an all out grease fire with the bacon.

Jujy reads on Syd's bed. She was all giggles.

Dressing up took up the better part of the night. At one point, all 4 girls were running around in their princess gowns, and awaiting some mean witch.

Dinner was so fun. The kids ate in the kitchen, while the adults were in the dining room - and the kids were having so much fun on their own that we were able to actually have real conversation and sneak in some digs on Hollis along the way. Tommy snoozed through most the dinner...
