A Daddy Day

Last Friday was a "Teacher Work Day" which meant that Chesterbrook was closed and Arturo stayed home in the morning with the kids. I came home in the afternoon to find the kids still in their PJ's and having a great time on their Daddy day.

Because there were still lots of people upstairs working on our kitchen that day, the kids stayed in the basement during the morning. Arturo moved around our couch (gotta love sectional sofas!) and built a fort for each girl:


The girls always take every opportunity to jump from high places. Here they are jumping from a slide:

Lunch was also in the basement, while the people were banging and hammering upstairs.

After I got home from work, I read to the girls, in their dress up clothes:
