Emma has spent the last 3 days outside in the snow. Our neighbors spent a considerable amount of time and energy building a "luge" in their front yard - really quite impressive! Their front yard has been the neighborhood hangout... Emma has really perfected her sledding skills now...!

December Blizzard!
We got hit with a big snow storm - the 2nd snow already this year! The snow started Friday evening and has lasted this entire Saturday day. I think we got almost 20 inches of snow!!! The girls spent a lot of time outside playing in the powder. Emma spent, I think, almost the entire day outside! In the morning, she went sledding with a bunch of kids from the neighborhood, and in the afternoon, she spent almost the whole afternoon playing at a neighbor's house... She really had a blast. Alexa seems to get cold a lot easier, so this is a good practice for our ski trip in February...

Alexa's Winter Show
Alexa's Holiday Show was on Friday morning. I guess I have 2 hams in the family, because she also sang her heart out too! Alexa is in the blue dress in the front row:
(BTW, her class sang The Beach Boys song "St. Nick" - very cute!)

The Crossfield 1st Grade Spectacular
It was a crazy week, filled with Holiday shows for both girls. This video is of Emma, singing with her first grade class. I love how into the singing and dancing Emma is. She looks so joyful!

Em and Lex
The other day, Emma came to us, wearing this:

It's hilarious, notably because the red jacket she is wearing is Tessa's 3-6 month old jacket. Emma managed to squeeze herself into it. And it looked really funny! What a clown...
This is a picture of Alexa, right before we headed to see The Nutcracker. She looks so grownup!

Lazy Time
4th Trimester
How is it that time has gone by so fast and so slow at the same time? It's hard to believe that Tessa is past the 3 month mark already! And yet... it's been 3 months since I have slept more than 3 consecutive hours at a time. (Update: just last week, Tessa started sleeping in 6-7 hour stretches! Let's hope it stays that way!)
Here we are celebrating her 3 month birthday. She started out patient, but that lasted only a few minutes, and she was done with the celebration before we were done snapping pictures.
