Happy 2 months, Little Monster!

Another month milestone for our monster. Thankfully, she slept peacefully through this particular birthday celebration!

Tuckered out from too much partying...

Hanging with Ale and Abio

Yawn, my family is SOOO boring...

Tessa LOVES her big sisters. She cracks a big smile whenever they start talking to her.

Alexa became particularly attached to Ale this trip. The two of them spent an afternoon putting together puzzles. Fun!

Great Falls

We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Sunday and brought Abio and Ale to Great Falls.

More rock scrambling. Can't wait for all three girls to be ready for the Billy Goat Trail!

Halloween 2009

Pre-Halloween, Alexa decided to make herself a ghost costume and model it for us.

We are ready for Halloween! Candy and treats, and two pumpkins that the girls decorated. One is a witch and the other is Minnie Mouse.

The annual neighborhood costume parade and pizza party. The rain dampened the parade, but everyone still gnoshed on pizza.

Arturo will fit right in next Memorial Day. Rolling Thunder, here he comes!

Me and my "little monster."

Ok, seriously, this is the first full family picture we have taken. Sad, but true.

When all's said and done...

...it's not so bad getting the flu. Both Emma and Alexa came down with the flu within one day of each other. They were down for the count for a good 5 days - with a high fever and bad cough. They both missed most of the school week. But they got to watch TV all day and drink lots of juice. Not a bad deal, really.

Bewilderment

Do not be fooled

If you saw only these pictures, you might be inclined to believe that Tessa does nothing but sleep all day. These were taken about 2 weeks ago, and it was NOT TRUE. Note all the daily tasks we must do each day with her by our side - dishes, eating all meals, etc... But we love that little girl, alright!

Videos Past

I stumbled upon a cache of old videos on my hard drive taken with our webcam over the years. There are some really good ones - I can't believe they were every this little!

Fire Safety Week

We went to our local firestation over the weekend since they were having an Open House for Fire Safety week. Alexa was still fascinated by everything - driving the ambulance and firetruck, asking the fire fighters lots of questions - just like when she was 2!

Sleepy Girl

It's very strange - Tessa sleeps pretty well at night (getting up only to eat) but does NOT sleep well during the day. We are baffled by her - despite the fact that by #3, you'd think we knew what we were doing!

Has it been 1 month already?

It's hard to believe that a month has already gone by. In some ways, it's flown by, in others... not so much.

Emma and Alexa helped me decorate the commemorative "cupcakes and crown" - and did quite a fine job!

The finished product. Tessa's cupcake is the mini cupcake in the middle!

Little T did NOT enjoy her birthday celebration. In fact, she pretty much screamed through most of it.
