This winter has been absolutely crazy with snow. Though we've already had several big snow storms in the past 2 months (each time dumping between 3-17 inches), the Blizzard of 2010 blew in more than 20" of snow in just over 24 hours...! If our family in Mexico could be with us now, it would be perfect.
Thank goodness for wonderful neighbors and snowblowers. In this first picture, our driveway looks as clean and perfect as it does only because we have kindhearted neighbors who have been helping everyone out. It's really a group effort. And I think Arturo would still be outside shoveling right now if it weren't for those snowblowers!
Also, checkout our mailbox! The plow has not been down our street yet - this is actually how high the snow got - almost burying the mailbox!
Emma playing Bop It while Tessa looks on and tries to grab the toy. Tessa, squirmy baby that she is, will sit remarkably still in your lap as long as you are playing Bop It.
Love wearing Tessa backpack style. She just needs to grow a few inches so that she can see over my shoulders. She only tolerated this hold for a few minutes - and quickly got tired of turning her head from side to side to see anything.
Emma was having fun in the snow until she ventured into our backyard. The snow was literally higher than her waist and she couldn't walk anywhere! See how in the picture, it is even higher than Arturo's knees.
What? Don't your kids dress up as witches to eat lunch?
I've been dying to do this for a few winters now. I mixed a few different colors of food coloring with water and put it in a spray bottle. Let the girls go to town on our snow piles. And now we have very colorful snow!
