Happy Birthday to me!

For my birthday on Saturday, I "took the morning off" and enjoyed some alone time. While I was out, Arturo and the girls made me a birthday cake.

We were planning on meeting everyone for dinner near Burke Lake, so we went early to Burke Lake Park and rode the trains. Afterwards, Alexa wanted to walk to the lake, but Emma decided to stay near the tot lot.

Everyone loves Friendly's, and the best part is, no one really cared (it seemed) that all the kids were quite energetic...

Our super eager waiter offered to take this picture for us. It took an excrutiating 5 minutes or so, with him climbing up and down booths, and apologizing profusely the whole time. In the end, the picture is a bit fuzzy, and Ginny and Jujy are missing from the picture, but at least everyone looks happy!
